We think children deserve better shoes.
Children’s footwear has become remarkably easy to buy. But harder to feel good about.
Walk into almost any shoe department and you’ll find rows of children’s sneakers built around synthetic materials, oversized logos, seasonal trends, and the assumption that kids will outgrow them soon anyway.
Children are growing, moving, climbing, running, and discovering the world in their shoes.

Choosing better shouldn’t be harder.
You want shoes that feel comfortable, hold up to everyday life and are something your child is genuinely happy to wear. Yet the most familiar sneakers are often the easiest to find, while discovering thoughtful alternatives can mean hours of researching unfamiliar makers, materials, sizing and fit.
We understand because we faced the same choice for our own children after moving from Europe to the United States. The easiest option was not always the one we truly wanted. That search became PinoriKids—an American company created to make a more thoughtful choice easier for other families.
We look for thoughtful fit, quality materials, dependable construction, lasting comfort and design children are happy to wear. Then we bring the shoes that meet those standards together in one carefully selected collection.

It started with our own children
PinoriKids began with a problem we experienced as parents ourselves: finding well-made children’s shoes with thoughtful materials, proper fit, and real durability was far harder than it should have been.
Other parents kept telling us versions of the same story — sweaty feet in synthetic sneakers, poor options for winter, concerns about fit and growing feet, and so little quality choice that they kept ending up with the same mass-market sneakers.
We realized the problem wasn’t just ours. The alternative was simply too hard to find — and we didn’t want to choose between quality and beautiful design.

Shoes worth waiting for.
- Shoes made with thoughtful materials.
- Shoes shaped with children in mind.
- Shoes flexible enough for movement, strong enough for everyday childhood, and well-made enough to outlast the moment they were purchased for.
- Beautiful designs you won’t find everywhere, many of them exclusive to us in the US.
We don’t carry everything. That’s the point.
There are already plenty of places where parents can choose between hundreds of children’s shoes. PinoriKids exists for something different.
A smaller collection. A higher standard. A more thoughtful alternative to plastic-heavy, logo-led, mass-market children’s footwear. And the confidence that someone has already looked closely before a pair reached you.
So you can spend less time researching and more time choosing.
That’s why PinoriKids exists.
We do the searching, questioning, and selecting — so parents don’t have to. PinoriKids is a curated children’s shoe store built around a simple belief:
We don’t carry a product because the brand is famous.
We don’t carry it because it happens to be trending.
And we don’t believe children need miniature versions of whatever adults are currently wearing.
We choose shoes because of how they are made, what they are made from, how they move with a child, and whether they can stand up to real life.
Every pair has to earn its place.
Before a shoe reaches PinoriKids, we look closely at the things we believe actually matter.
Materials
Thoughtful materials, chosen with children in mind.
We favor breathable, carefully selected materials and avoid unnecessary synthetic construction wherever we can. What touches a child’s foot should be chosen with care.
Construction
Made to move with childhood.
We look for flexible construction, secure fastening, thoughtful shape, and room for little feet to move naturally. Children’s shoes should work with movement, not against it.
Durability
Made for more than the moment.
Children’s shoes should survive school days, playgrounds, family adventures, and everything in between. Whenever possible, we want a pair to have life left for the child who comes next.
Design
Beautiful without becoming disposable fashion.
A good children’s shoe should work hard and still be something you’re happy to see your child wearing. We believe function and beauty belong together.
Transparency
You should know what you’re buying.
We want parents to understand the materials, construction, and thinking behind the shoes we choose. No mystery. No empty premium language.
Shoes worth growing in.
Childhood moves quickly. Their shoes should be ready for all of it.
